Reaching out into our communities is vital to our organization,
developing relationships with community leaders, media, school faculty
and local civic groups can greatly assist each post in achieving the VFW
When visiting our post in person, please adhere to CDC and Georgia' guidelines to ensure we are all safe and remain healthy. The new social distancing and maximum capacity guidelines now limit the number of people that are allowed to enter the hall. Therefore, entrance into our Post is based on a first come, first serve basis. Only 88 personnel are allowed (at this time) in the hall and once we hit capacity, no additional personnel will be permitted to enter. In addition, the following guidelines are in effect until further notice.
★ Self-screen before visiting our Post. Any person displaying any of these symptoms while at the Post, will be politely asked to leave. Please stay home if you have any of the following symptoms.
Cough Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing Chills Repeated shaking with chills Muscle pain Headache Sore throat Loss of taste or smell Diarrhea Feeling feverish or a measured temperature greater than or equal to 100.0 degrees Fahrenheit Known close contact with a person who is lab confirmed to have COVID-19
★ All personnel must be 18+ years to enter the Post. Children are not permitted without parental supervision for their safety, and others.
★ Immediately wash or disinfect hands upon entering the Post. A worker will be greeting you at the front entrance door upon entering and have hand sanitizer available for your convenience.
★ We will have social distancing markers immediately upon entering the Post. Please follow these social distancing markers. Kindly maintain a 6-foot separation when inside.
★ All personnel are required to wear masks while inside our facility. Masks may be purchased, if available.
★ Do your best to maintain at least 6 feet separation from other personnel at all times within the Post.
★ Wash or disinfect your hands after contact with persons.
★ Wash your hands before leaving the restroom.
★ We encourage all players
Again, to remain open and ensure we are all safe, personnel will be required to follow these guidelines to the best of their ability. If a person is having difficulty adhering to these guidelines or becomes disrespectful and rude towards anyone in the Post, they will be asked to leave and further review our guidelines. Once clearly understood, a person may be welcome to return.
Please note that these guidelines are subject to change based on State and Local guideline changes and always in an effort to improve our safety and procedures. Again, please be patient with us and your fellow patrons as we work to serve you better and always strive to be the best Post in Georgia.
